In the classics, the name Jeumpa d'Ramo
evokes the splendour of the prosperous Sultanate of Aceh. A bustling
trading port for merchants and travellers alike, its prosperity
attracted visitors from all over the world. This intermingling of
people turned the Sultanate into a melting pot of cultures and
scholarly ideas, then into a centre of learning and a port of call
for Muslim pilgrims going to Mecca from the east. In hopes of
emulating this tradition of hospitality, we at Jeumpa d'Ramo would
like to welcome you to experience a memorable stay at our boutique
guesthouse, located in the prime area of Bangsar. In seeking to
exceed your expectations we have designed our rooms and prepared
facilities that meet international hotel standards that include
swimming pool, conference room, fully equipped kitchen and ample
parking. Most importantly we extend our finest services through our
coterie of experienced and dedicated team.

Jeumpa d'Ramo has 18 exquisitely
designed rooms comprising of 3 suites with spacious private
balconies, 4 deluxe rooms and 11 standard rooms. The room décor is
rich with Indonesian teak wooden furniture, flooring and bed frames.
All rooms have attached bathroom, selected satellite channels and a
mini fridge. Our patron's personal collection of Acehnese and
Malaysian art are displayed throughout the premise. Also available
are a portion of his personal book collection. Although being in the
heart of the lively Bangsar culinary, entertainment and shopping
scene, Jeumpa d'Ramo does well to cut out the hustle and bustle of
the city and ensure the comfort and privacy of its guest complete
with a beautifully maintained Japanese bamboo garden and a mini
library.

Jeumpa d'Ramo
Jeumpa d'Ramo means "Berjumpa di
serambi" or "Gathering at the verandah" in Acehnese
dialect. It is a boutique accommodation with traditional Acehnese
interior. Another meaning of Jeumpa is a species of flower from the
Magnolian Genus with special aromatic fragrance. It is also the royal
flower of the Sultanate of Aceh (1496-1903).
